The sacred Gadu Ghada Oil Kalash Yatra commenced from Narendra Nagar and reached its first stop in Rishikesh on Wednesday, drawing hundreds of devotees who gathered to seek blessings for the upcoming rituals at Badrinath Dham.
Traditional Yatra Begins with Devotion
The ceremonial procession, which holds deep religious significance, started from the royal court of Narendra Nagar. Devotees lined the streets to witness the sacred journey and offer prayers to the oil kalash, symbolizing purity and devotion.
The yatra will continue through several towns before reaching Badrinath Dham on April 22.

The sacred ritual will take place on April 23, a day after the yatra reaches Badrinath.
