According to Koppal, protesters gave flowers to the occupants of the Tamil Nadu vehicle as a symbolic gesture while conveying their objection to the water release.
He said protesters wanted to highlight the situation in Karnataka, where people are also facing concerns regarding drinking water and agricultural requirements. The demonstration was described as a peaceful expression of opposition to the release of Cauvery water.
