Preparations for the opening of Badrinath Dham are in full swing. Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, Vishal Mishra, visited the shrine to review arrangements ahead of its reopening on April 23.
Inspection and Deadline for Completion
During the visit, the CEO carefully assessed the progress of work under the master plan. Additionally, he instructed officials to complete all tasks by April 20 without compromising quality. He also interacted with workers and appreciated their efforts.
Decoration and Temple Arrangements
The administration has planned several beautification activities. For instance, officials will complete the decoration of Narsingh Temple and Yog Badri Temple by April 20.
Moreover, they will finish floral decoration of Badrinath Dham by April 22 using marigolds and colorful roses. Authorities have also asked teams to inform donors in advance to ensure smooth arrangements.
Facilities for Devotees
Authorities are focusing on improving the overall experience for devotees. Therefore, they will repair and test all CCTV cameras before the opening.
In addition, they will install screens at multiple queue points so that devotees can watch religious programs while waiting.
Infrastructure and Signage Improvements
Officials are also upgrading infrastructure facilities. At the same time, they will complete repair work of guest houses in Jyotirmath and nearby areas.
Furthermore, they will install attractive signage across the temple premises to guide visitors more efficiently.
Significance of Char Dham Yatra
The Char Dham Yatra holds great importance in Hinduism. Traditionally, pilgrims follow a clockwise route. First, they visit Yamunotri, then Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath, and finally Badrinath.
Overall, authorities are working on a strict timeline to complete all preparations before the opening. As a result, devotees can expect a smooth, safe, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience this year.
