New Delhi, March 23: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce the Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha today. Parliament resumes the second phase of the Budget Session.
The bill aims to amend the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2008 and the Companies Act 2013. The government wants to improve compliance and simplify business regulations.
Finance Bill 2026 Also in Focus
Sitharaman will also present the Finance Bill, 2026. This bill outlines the government’s financial plans for FY 2026–27.
The Lok Sabha will begin proceedings at 11 AM. Several important discussions are expected during the session.

Several ministers will table official documents in the House. These include Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jayant Chaudhary, and Shobha Karandlaje.
At the same time, BJP MPs will present a report on cyber crimes and women’s safety. The report focuses on digital threats and preventive measures.
Focus on Housing and MSME Sector
MPs will also discuss housing schemes. The report includes updates on the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary will present updates on MSME credit flow. He will also review the insurance sector’s performance.
