Tehran, Iran | March 24:
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched the 78th wave of its military campaign, Operation True Promise 4. The operation targets key sites in Israel and several United States military bases in the region.
The IRGC confirmed missile and drone strikes on high-value locations, including Tel Aviv, Eilat, and Dimona. Officials described this phase as a major escalation in the ongoing conflict.
Missile and Drone Strikes Intensify
The IRGC used advanced missile systems such as Emad and multi-warhead Qadr. It also deployed attack drones during the operation.
Dimona, which lies near Israel’s nuclear facility, was among the key targets. The IRGC claimed this marked the second strike on the area in recent days.
IRGC Issues Strong Warning
The IRGC stated that it is “negotiating with enemies through impact-driven strikes.” It described the attacks as a direct response to actions taken against Iran.
Officials warned that further escalation remains possible. They added that many combat units and Basij volunteer forces have not yet been deployed.
The corps also cautioned that any retaliation would face an immediate and powerful response.
US Bases Also Targeted
The IRGC confirmed that several US military bases in the region were also hit during the latest wave. However, detailed damage reports have not been officially disclosed.
Power Disruptions Reported in Kuwait
Meanwhile, Kuwait reported disruptions in its power grid. Falling debris from air defence interceptions damaged several transmission lines.
Authorities confirmed partial power outages in multiple areas. Emergency teams are working to restore electricity and assess the damage.
Officials have urged citizens to rely on verified sources for updates.
Background of the Conflict
Operation True Promise 4 began after Iran accused Israel and the United States of launching fresh attacks last month. Since then, tensions have continued to rise across the region.
The latest wave of strikes signals a sharp escalation in the conflict. With both sides issuing warnings, the risk of a wider regional crisis continues to grow.
