Tehran, March 18, 2026: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it carried out strikes on more than 100 targets in Tel Aviv as part of its ongoing retaliatory campaign, Operation True Promise 4.
Iran Launches Large-Scale Missile Attack
According to Iranian state media, the strikes marked the 61st wave of the operation. The IRGC stated that the attack targeted key military and security sites.
Moreover, the operation reportedly used advanced missile systems, including:
- Khorramshahr-4 multi-warhead missiles
- Qadr ballistic missiles
- Emad and Kheibar Shekan projectiles
Retaliation for Senior Leader’s Killing
The IRGC said the strikes were launched in response to the killing of Ali Larijani, a senior Iranian security official.
Iran described the earlier military action by the United States and Israel as unprovoked aggression.
Claims of Major Impact in Tel Aviv
Iranian reports claimed that:
- Over 100 targets were hit
- More than 230 casualties were reported (killed and injured)
- A partial blackout occurred in Tel Aviv
However, independent confirmation of these claims remains limited.
Strikes Extend Beyond Tel Aviv
In addition, the operation reportedly targeted several strategic locations across Israel, including:
- Haifa port
- Be’er Sheva
- Negev Desert region
- Al-Quds area
These areas are considered critical for military and technological operations.
Regional Escalation Intensifies
Meanwhile, tensions in the Middle East continue to rise. Reports suggest that US-linked facilities in countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia also faced impacts.
The conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States is entering a more intense phase.
Growing Global Concern
As a result, global concern is increasing over the expanding conflict. Analysts warn that continued escalation could have serious geopolitical and economic consequences worldwide.
