In a major move for rural development, Yogi Adityanath announced the distribution of land ownership rights in Lakhimpur Kheri. This step aims to support displaced families and improve their living conditions.
Land Rights for Displaced Families
Firstly, the government will provide land ownership documents to 331 Hindu families displaced from Bangladesh. These families migrated after independence. However, they had not received legal land rights until now.
As a result, this initiative will give them stability and legal recognition. It will also ensure a permanent place to live.
Development Projects Worth ₹417 Crore
At the same time, the Chief Minister will launch 213 development projects worth ₹417 crore. These projects will take place across Lakhimpur Kheri, Dhaurahra, and Mohammadi.

Housing Scheme Benefits
In addition, beneficiaries will receive house keys under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme (Rural). This scheme focuses on providing safe and affordable housing.

Meanwhile, in Chandan Chowki (Palia), land ownership certificates will be given to 4,556 Tharu tribal families.
Furthermore, the government will launch 314 projects worth ₹817 crore in Palia, Srinagar, Nighasan, and Gola. These projects aim to promote inclusive development.
