Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled a Panchang table calendar titled “From the Soil of Uttarakhand – From Hero to People’s Leader: Pushkar Singh Dhami” at his residence in Dehradun.
The Chief Minister said the Panchang calendar provides detailed information about dates, days, lunar phases, months, festivals, and important occasions. It also includes traditional fasting rituals and cultural practices.
Promoting Culture and Traditions
Dhami appreciated the initiative and said the calendar will help people stay connected with their cultural roots. He highlighted the importance of preserving traditions in modern times.
The concept of the calendar was developed by his Media Coordinator, Madan Mohan Sati.
Showcasing Government Achievements
The calendar also highlights key decisions taken by the state government in public interest. It includes details of welfare schemes, achievements, and development initiatives under the current administration.
Focus on Development and Heritage
Marking four years of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttarakhand, Dhami reiterated his government’s vision of balancing development with heritage.
He stated that the government is working towards building a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous Uttarakhand. He also emphasized sustainable development by maintaining harmony between the economy and ecology.
Navratri Celebrations and Temple Visit
On the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, the Chief Minister visited Maa Kalika Temple in Paltan Bazaar and offered prayers.
He said Navratri symbolizes power, faith, and devotion. Dhami prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being for the people of Uttarakhand.
