New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared highlights from the 77th Republic Day celebrations held at Kartavya Path in the national capital. He highlighted the importance of constitutional values and the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
On X, the Prime Minister posted a video showing key moments from the parade. He wrote that India must continue to strengthen its Constitution and work towards a developed nation.

Grand Parade Showcases India’s Strength
Meanwhile, the Republic Day parade displayed India’s cultural diversity and growing capabilities. It also highlighted the strength of the Indian Armed Forces. Large crowds gathered at Kartavya Path. At the same time, people across the country celebrated the day with pride.
European Leaders Attend as Chief Guests
Notably, the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, attended the celebrations as Chief Guests. Their presence underlined India’s strong ties with the European Union.

President Leads National Celebrations
President Droupadi Murmu led the national celebrations and took the salute of the parade. The ceremonial route stretched from Rashtrapati Bhavan to the National War Memorial. Authorities decorated the entire area for the occasion.
