Dehradun, March 18, 2026: The Uttarakhand government carried out a major administrative reshuffle across key departments, especially in the energy sector. The move aims to improve efficiency and strengthen governance.

Key Changes in Energy Corporations

Firstly, the government removed several senior officials from top positions:

Anil Kumar removed as Managing Director of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL)
Sandeep Singhal relieved as MD of UJVNL
Ajay Agarwal removed as Director (Projects) at UPCL

Additionally, the government reassigned responsibilities to ensure continuity in operations.
