Washington DC (US) | February 16, 2026: The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) announced that it will serve as an official partner for the India AI Impact Summit 2026. USISPF will work in collaboration with India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for the summit.
The announcement marks a major step in strengthening US-India cooperation on artificial intelligence and building trusted technology ecosystems.

USISPF President and CEO Mukesh Aghi shared the update on X (formerly Twitter). He said USISPF is proud to join as an official partner for the summit.

In his post, Aghi also stated that USISPF is leading the largest-ever US industry delegation to New Delhi for the event.
Delegation to Include 100+ US Companies
According to USISPF, the delegation will represent more than 100 American companies. It will include USISPF board members, CEOs, and senior industry leaders.
The summit is being positioned as a key moment for advancing collaboration on:
- AI infrastructure
- AI applications
- AI governance frameworks
- Trusted AI ecosystems
USISPF Launches Board AI Task Force
Along with the partnership announcement, USISPF also launched a new USISPF Board AI Task Force.
The task force will be led by USISPF Chairman John T Chambers. USISPF said the task force will focus on strengthening AI ecosystems and supporting responsible deployment at scale.
The organization added that the initiative will aim to deliver population-scale impact through AI.
Summit to Focus on Responsible and Inclusive AI
USISPF said the US-India partnership will play a central role in shaping a trusted global AI ecosystem.
The organization also highlighted the shared commitment of leaders from both countries. It noted that artificial intelligence must be developed responsibly and in service of people.
India AI Impact Summit 2026 to Be Held in New Delhi
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is expected to bring together policymakers, technology companies, and research institutions from both India and the United States.
The summit will focus on building a joint roadmap for AI development, including infrastructure growth, real-world applications, and safeguards for responsible AI.
