Earlier at 9 AM, turnout figures were significantly lower:
- Assam: 17.87%
- Kerala: 16.23%
- Puducherry: 17.41%
However, as polling progressed, participation increased steadily, indicating strong voter engagement across regions.

Voting began at 7 AM for key electoral battles across:
- 126 seats in Assam
- 140 seats in Kerala
- 30 seats in Puducherry
