Officials have ensured that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) function properly. Backup plans are also in place to avoid delays.
High-Stakes Political Battle
The election is witnessing an intense political contest.
- The DMK-led alliance is relying on its welfare policies
- The AIADMK-led NDA is aiming for a strong comeback
At the same time, actor-turned-politician Vijay is making his electoral debut with his party TVK.
As a result, the election could turn into a three-way contest, making it highly competitive.
Voter Participation and Arrangements
Authorities have streamlined arrangements to ensure a smooth voting experience.
- Security personnel are guiding voters at booths
- Queue management systems are in place
- Assistance is available for elderly and differently-abled voters
Therefore, officials expect a high voter turnout across the state.

As the political battle intensifies, voter participation will play a key role in shaping the state’s future. The results on May 4 will determine the next government in Tamil Nadu.
