New Delhi, March 7: The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 results have been declared, bringing celebrations across several states in India. Successful candidates shared inspiring stories of determination, hard work, and persistence after achieving success in one of the country’s toughest examinations.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results on Friday, and many candidates credited their families, mentors, and self-discipline for their achievements.
Aastha Jain Secures 9th Rank in UPSC 2025
In Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, the family of Aastha Jain, who secured the 9th rank, celebrated the achievement with pride.
Her father said that Aastha has consistently performed well in academics. She earlier secured the 4th rank nationwide in the Class 12 board examinations.
He also shared that she has cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam three times. Currently, she is part of the Rajasthan IPS cadre and is undergoing training in Hyderabad.
Vaibhavi Agrawal Secures 35th Rank
In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Vaibhavi Agrawal, who secured the 35th rank, credited her success to strong support from mentors, coaching institutes, and family members.
She said persistence plays a crucial role in achieving success.
“I attribute my success to God, my mentors, coaching, and family support. Persistence is the key to success. Anyone can achieve their goals if they keep trying,” Vaibhavi said.
She added that after joining the civil services, she hopes to work for women’s empowerment and education.
Sudipa Dutta Clears Exam in Third Attempt
In Dumka, Jharkhand, Sudipa Dutta, who secured the 41st rank, shared that she cleared the examination on her third attempt.
She completed her schooling at St Joseph’s School in Banka and later finished her Class 12 in Dumka. She graduated with a Political Science degree.
Sudipa said she relied mainly on self-study, dedicating around six to ten hours daily to preparation.
Rupal Jaiswal Achieves 43rd Rank
In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, Rupal Jaiswal secured the 43rd rank in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025.
She said perseverance and self-competition helped her achieve success.
“Hard work and perseverance can take you anywhere. I cleared the exam on my second attempt but decided to appear again because I wanted to challenge myself,” she said.
PM Modi Congratulates Successful Candidates
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated all candidates who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025.
In a post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister praised their dedication and commitment.
“Congratulations to all those who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025. Their dedication, perseverance, and hard work have led to this significant milestone,” PM Modi wrote.
He also wished them success as they begin their journey of serving the nation.
Message for Aspirants Who Did Not Clear the Exam
Prime Minister Modi also encouraged candidates who did not achieve their desired results this year.
He said such moments can be difficult but reminded aspirants that the examination is only one step in a larger journey.
He emphasized that there are many opportunities ahead through which individuals can contribute to the nation.
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered one of the most competitive exams in India, selecting candidates for prestigious services such as IAS, IPS, and IFS.
