Samrat Choudhary will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Bihar today. This marks a major political change in the state.
Nitish Kumar resigned after serving for more than 20 years. He recently joined the Rajya Sabha.

Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi said the new government will continue the development work started earlier.
He said, “Samrat Choudhary will take Bihar forward. The development work will continue without any break.”
Vijay Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav will take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.

The BJP elected Samrat Choudhary as the leader of its legislative party. This decision cleared his path to become Chief Minister.

Prashant Kishor criticised the move. He claimed the state government would be controlled by Amit Shah.
