Haridwar, March 7: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the preparations for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s public rally in Haridwar. The event will highlight the achievements of the state government and showcase national security initiatives.
The rally is part of the programme “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar: Char Saal Bemisaal.” The administration has completed all major arrangements for the high-profile visit.
Exhibitions to Highlight National Security and Legal Reforms
Chief Minister Dhami said two major exhibitions have been prepared in Haridwar for Amit Shah’s visit.
One exhibition will demonstrate the steps taken by the Indian government to strengthen citizen safety and improve the justice delivery system. After the Home Minister’s visit, one exhibition venue will remain open for the public for a week.
Speaking to reporters, Dhami said the administration has ensured proper arrangements for the rally and related events.
CM Dhami Inspects Event Venue in Haridwar
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited Haridwar to inspect the preparations for the programme. The main event will take place at Bairagi Camp, where Amit Shah will address a public gathering.
Officials have decorated the city and the venue to welcome the Union Home Minister. The administration is also coordinating with different departments to manage security and crowd arrangements.
High-Level Meeting to Review Arrangements
CM Dhami also chaired a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence to review preparations for Amit Shah’s visit.
During the meeting, he instructed officials to ensure:

- Effective coordination between departments
The Chief Minister emphasized that every aspect of the programme must be well organized and completed on time.
Focus on Social Security Schemes
During another review meeting, Dhami directed officials to resolve pension cases quickly and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of social security benefits.
He also asked departments to launch awareness campaigns about pension schemes so that more eligible citizens can benefit from them.
The Chief Minister urged officials to prepare an innovation-driven action plan to connect deprived and vulnerable sections of society with government welfare schemes.
