Another Hindu Man Shot Dead in Jessore
The killing comes just a day after another Hindu man was shot dead in Jessore, according to Prothom Alo.

Rising Insecurity for Minorities
In recent weeks, multiple reports have highlighted rising attacks and growing insecurity faced by minority communities in Bangladesh.
A recent incident shocked the nation when Khokon Das, a Hindu man, died after attackers set him on fire on New Year’s Eve. The attackers assaulted him with sharp weapons, poured petrol on his body, and set him ablaze.
In a desperate attempt to escape, Das jumped into a nearby pond. Local residents rushed to help after hearing his screams. They took him to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital before doctors referred him to Dhaka due to his critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
Police are investigating all the incidents. Further details are awaited.
