Gorakhpur, June 27
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated the two-day Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign in Gorakhpur, describing the programme as an important ideological and organizational initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing party workers and leaders, the Chief Minister praised the welfare initiatives of the Narendra Modi-led government and emphasized that development should be guided by the philosophy of Antyodaya, ensuring benefits reach the poorest sections of society.
The Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign witnessed the participation of BJP office bearers, workers, and senior leaders from different districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. The event focused on strengthening the party’s ideological foundation while preparing its cadre for future public outreach programmes.
BJP Training Based on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Ideology
Speaking at the inauguration, Yogi Adityanath said the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign draws inspiration from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, one of the foremost ideologues of the Jana Sangh. He said Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Integral Humanism continues to guide the BJP’s governance model.
According to the Chief Minister, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who served as a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak before taking organizational responsibilities in the Jana Sangh, envisioned a governance model centered on the welfare of every citizen.
Yogi said BJP workers should understand the party’s ideological roots and actively work towards implementing these principles at the grassroots level.
Antyodaya Should Guide Governance
During the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign, the Chief Minister stressed that Antyodaya, the upliftment of the last person in society, should remain the guiding principle of governance and economic policymaking.
He stated that India’s development becomes meaningful only when government schemes reach those who are most deprived. According to Yogi, every welfare initiative launched by the Centre has been designed with this objective in mind.
The Chief Minister said governments should not merely formulate policies but ensure that benefits are delivered directly to citizens without discrimination.
Yogi Highlights Welfare Achievements Under PM Modi
A major highlight of the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign was the Chief Minister’s detailed account of welfare initiatives undertaken during the last twelve years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Yogi Adityanath stated that the Modi government has transformed the lives of millions through large-scale social welfare programmes.
He said:
- Around 12 crore toilets have been constructed for poor households under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
- Nearly 4 crore families have received permanent houses through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
- Millions of households now have access to clean drinking water through tap connections.
- 50 crore beneficiaries are covered under the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.
- Nearly 80 crore people continue to receive free food grains under the central government’s food security programme.
According to the Chief Minister, these initiatives represent a governance model that prioritizes inclusive growth and social justice.
25 Crore People Moved Out of Poverty
While addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath claimed that welfare programmes implemented during the Modi government have enabled nearly 25 crore Indians to move above the poverty line.
During the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign, he said improved access to housing, healthcare, sanitation, drinking water, and food security has strengthened the country’s social and economic fabric.
He added that citizens who have escaped poverty are now becoming active participants in India’s economic growth and national development.
According to Yogi, the government’s welfare policies have not only improved living standards but have also expanded opportunities for education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
BJP Workers Asked to Strengthen Public Outreach
The Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign also focused on strengthening communication between BJP workers and the public.
Yogi Adityanath urged party workers to remain connected with citizens and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive information about government welfare schemes.
He said the BJP’s organizational strength lies in disciplined workers who maintain continuous interaction with society while promoting development-oriented governance.
The Chief Minister encouraged party workers to carry forward the message of nationalism, good governance, and inclusive development across villages, towns, and cities.
India Moving Towards Inclusive Development
The Chief Minister said India is witnessing rapid transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
During the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign, he noted that infrastructure development, digital governance, improved healthcare services, financial inclusion, and rural development have significantly strengthened India’s economy.
He said welfare programmes have empowered women, farmers, youth, senior citizens, and economically weaker families.
Yogi added that India’s development model combines economic progress with social welfare, ensuring that every section of society benefits from government initiatives.
Janta Darshan Held at Gorakhnath Temple
Earlier in the day, before attending the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister conducted his regular Janta Darshan programme at the Gorakhnath Temple premises.
During the interaction, citizens presented their grievances and requests directly before the Chief Minister. Officials were instructed to ensure prompt action on public complaints.
Yogi Adityanath also visited the temple’s gaushala, where he fed cattle before beginning his official engagements.
BJP’s Organizational Focus Ahead of Future Campaigns
Political observers view the Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign as part of the BJP’s ongoing effort to strengthen its organizational network while reinforcing ideological training among party workers.
Such programmes are designed to familiarize workers with government achievements, party philosophy, and communication strategies aimed at improving public engagement.
The campaign also seeks to ensure that party workers remain informed about flagship welfare programmes implemented by both the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments.
The Yogi Adityanath BJP Training Mega-Campaign in Gorakhpur highlighted the BJP’s emphasis on ideological training alongside welfare-focused governance. During his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underlined the achievements of the Narendra Modi government, citing the construction of 12 crore toilets, 4 crore houses, healthcare coverage for 50 crore people, and free ration for 80 crore beneficiaries.
Reiterating the philosophy of Antyodaya, the Chief Minister said governance should prioritize the welfare of the poorest citizens while ensuring inclusive development across the country. The two-day campaign is expected to further strengthen the BJP’s organizational structure and prepare its cadre for future political and public outreach initiatives.
