The deceased was identified as Yashvendra. According to police, a PCR call regarding the accident was received at Vasant Kunj South Police Station.
When police reached the location, they found Yashvendra in the vehicle along with a female friend who was travelling as the co-passenger.
The second Delhi road accident occurred after the two had reportedly stayed at a friend’s house the previous night. They were travelling in the morning towards the woman’s residence when the crash occurred.

According to the preliminary inquiry and the statement of the co-passenger, Yashvendra allegedly lost control of the vehicle near the Nangal Dewat red light because of the slippery road surface.
