Rajnath Singh Hails Dhami’s Leadership in Haldwani

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for his leadership, calling him “Dhurandhar Dhami” during a public event marking four years of the Uttarakhand government.
Addressing a large gathering in Haldwani, Singh expressed confidence in the state’s progress under Dhami’s leadership and credited him for driving development across multiple sectors.

Rajnath Singh recalled his earlier remarks about Dhami, stating:
“Our Dhami is not ordinary, he is Dhakad Dhami… now, he should be called Dhurandhar Dhami.”
He highlighted that under Dhami’s leadership, Uttarakhand has achieved a strong position nationally in several sectors, reflecting effective governance and vision.

The Defence Minister also reminisced about his political journey and connection with the state. He noted that Uttarakhand was formed during his tenure as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
