Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Uttarakhand government led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing four years in office. He praised the state’s progress in development, governance, and public welfare.
PM Modi Highlights Development and Progress
In his message, Modi appreciated the government’s efforts under Dhami’s leadership. He said Uttarakhand has made rapid progress across multiple sectors.
He also highlighted the state’s cultural and spiritual identity, calling it “Devbhoomi.” The Prime Minister noted that Uttarakhand continues to move forward in line with the vision of a developed India.
Key infrastructure projects such as the Char Dham All-Weather Road Project and the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag Railway Line were mentioned as major achievements. These projects aim to improve connectivity and boost tourism in the region.
Focus on Economy, Tourism, and Employment
Modi also praised initiatives to promote winter tourism, improve border connectivity, and support local products. He said these efforts have strengthened the local economy and reduced migration.
He further appreciated steps taken to empower women, generate employment for youth, support startups, and promote digital and green development.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of disaster management and sustainable development for long-term growth in the hill state.
CM Dhami Expresses Gratitude
Responding to the Prime Minister, CM Dhami thanked him for his support and guidance. He said the state’s progress reflects the trust and collective effort of its people.
Dhami reaffirmed his government’s commitment to public service, transparency, and inclusive development. He added that Uttarakhand will continue contributing to the vision of “Developed India-2047.”
